2. Admissions
Crownhill International College reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its sole discretion. Submission of an application does not guarantee admission. All information provided in the application must be accurate, complete, and truthful. Crownhill International College reserves the right to withdraw an offer or terminate enrolment if false or misleading information is discovered at any stage.
A conditional offer becomes unconditional only upon satisfaction of all stated conditions, including but not limited to submission of qualifying academic results. The Deposit must be paid within the timeframe stated in the Offer Letter to secure the Student's place in their intake cohort.
3. Fees and Payment
All fees are quoted in United States Dollars (USD). Invoices are issued in Brazilian Reais (BRL) at the exchange rate applicable on the invoice date. Payment details are provided in the Offer Letter.
The Deposit (50% of Tuition Fee) is due within 14 days of accepting the Offer Letter. The first month's accommodation fee (where accommodation has been arranged through Crownhill International College) is due at the same time. The remaining Tuition Fee balance is due at least 14 days before the Student's scheduled arrival date.
Crownhill International College reserves the right to withhold access to the Learning Portal, to decline to issue visa documentation, and to withdraw the Student's place if fees are not paid within the stated deadlines.
4. Refund Policy
The Deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances, including visa refusal, withdrawal, and force majeure events, except as set out below.
The balance of Tuition Fees paid beyond the Deposit will be refunded in the following circumstances:
- Visa refusal: If the Student's VITEM IV application is refused and the refusal is not due to false or incomplete information provided by the Student, Crownhill International College will refund 100% of the Tuition Fee balance paid beyond the Deposit, provided written evidence of the refusal is submitted within 14 days.
- Programme cancellation by Crownhill International College: If Crownhill International College cancels a programme before it begins, 100% of all fees paid will be refunded.
- Withdrawal before programme start: If the Student withdraws in writing at least 30 days before the programme start date, the Tuition Fee balance paid beyond the Deposit will be refunded at 50%. No refund of any amount is available for withdrawals submitted less than 30 days before the programme start date.
- Withdrawal after programme start: No refund of Tuition Fees is available once the programme has commenced, except in cases of serious medical emergency supported by appropriate medical documentation, which will be assessed by Crownhill International College on a case-by-case basis.
Accommodation fees are subject to a separate refund policy as set out in the Accommodation Agreement.
