1. Our Commitment

C.I.C. has a duty of care to all students, particularly international students who may be away from home for the first time. We take this responsibility seriously and have designated welfare support to ensure every student feels safe, supported and included.

2. Student Welfare Support

All students have access to welfare support through:

A designated Student Welfare Officer available during college hours
A direct welfare email at welfare@cicbrazil.com
WhatsApp support for urgent welfare matters
Referral to external counselling and support services where needed

3. Safeguarding Policy

C.I.C. is committed to protecting all students from harm, abuse, exploitation and discrimination. All staff are trained in safeguarding awareness. Any concerns about student welfare are taken seriously and acted upon promptly.

If a student is at immediate risk, C.I.C. will involve local Brazilian authorities where required by law.

4. Anti-Harassment and Discrimination

C.I.C. operates a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment, bullying and discrimination of any kind, whether based on race, nationality, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected characteristic. Any incident must be reported to welfare@cicbrazil.com or report@cicbrazil.com.

5. Financial Exploitation

C.I.C. does not charge students any application fees or visa processing fees. Students are protected against agent exploitation. Any agent found collecting unauthorised fees from students will have their registration revoked and may be reported to the relevant authorities. Students should report any such conduct to report@cicbrazil.com.

6. Health and Medical Support

Students requiring medical assistance are advised to attend the health facilities near the Floripa Shopping campus. C.I.C. can assist students in accessing healthcare and will support students in understanding their health insurance options.

7. Data Protection and Privacy
