Legal Bases for Processing (Bases Legais)

Crownhill International College processes personal data under the following legal bases established by Article 7 and Article 11 of the LGPD:

Consent (Consentimento) — Art. 7(I)

Where a data subject provides explicit consent to the processing of their data, such as when submitting an enquiry form, pre-registration form, or application form. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting askcic@cicbrazil.com.

Contract Performance (Execução de Contrato) — Art. 7(V)

Where processing is necessary to perform our obligations under the enrolment agreement, including issuing visa documents, managing accommodation arrangements, delivering academic programmes, and processing tuition payments.

Legitimate Interest (Legítimo Interesse) — Art. 7(IX)

Where processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of Crownhill International College, including following up on incomplete applications, communicating relevant institutional updates, and improving our services, provided such interests do not override the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

Legal Obligation (Obrigação Legal) — Art. 7(II)

Where processing is required to comply with Brazilian legal obligations, including immigration reporting requirements (Federal Police, SINCRE), tax obligations (Receita Federal), and educational institution record-keeping requirements.

Your Rights Under the LGPD (Direitos do Titular)

Confirmação e acesso (Art. 18, I and II): Confirmation of whether we process your data and access to a copy of it.

Correção (Art. 18, III): Correction of inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated data.

Anonimização, bloqueio ou eliminação (Art. 18, IV): Anonymisation, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary or unlawfully processed data.

Portabilidade (Art. 18, V): Portability of your data to another service provider, where technically feasible.
