Pre-Master Programme
The C.I.C. Pre-Master Programme is a one-year intensive academic and professional preparation programme designed for graduates who want to progress to a Master's degree in the UK, Canada, USA, Australia or New Zealand but who need to strengthen their academic English, research skills or subject knowledge first.
What is the Pre-Master Programme?
A structured, one-year pathway designed to bridge the gap between your undergraduate degree and postgraduate study at a top university abroad.
The Pre-Master Programme at Crownhill International College prepares you academically and professionally for success at Masters level. You will study academic writing, research methodology, critical thinking, quantitative analysis and your chosen specialist subject track, all taught by experienced tutors in small groups of no more than 15 students.
Upon successful completion with the required grades, C.I.C. will support your application to partner universities in your chosen destination country. Many students progress with a full or partial scholarship from the receiving institution.

Select the subject track that aligns with your intended Masters degree and career goals. All tracks include the same core academic foundation modules.
Who Can Apply?
The Pre-Master Programme is open to graduates and near-graduates from all countries who want to pursue postgraduate study abroad.
Educational Background
A completed bachelors degree or equivalent from an accredited institution. Final-year undergraduates may apply with a conditional offer.
English Language
No formal English test required to apply or to obtain a Brazilian student visa. English proficiency is assessed by C.I.C. during the programme.
Age
No minimum or maximum age. The programme welcomes mature students, career-changers and recent graduates equally.
Visa
VITEM IV Brazilian student visa for international students. C.I.C. issues all visa documents within 48 hours of deposit. No English test required.
Work Experience
Not required but advantageous. Students with professional experience may be fast-tracked to Semester 2 in some subject tracks.

Complete the C.I.C. online application form. Select Pre-Master Programme and your chosen subject track. Include a personal statement of 300 to 500 words.
